Increases in both business visitors and tourists from China have boosted traffic on the Johannesburg/Hong Kong route which is covered by daily flights operated by South African Airways and Cathay Pacific. More goods are being imported from the Chinese market and air links will be improved between the two countries when SAA launches a new direct service from Johannesburg to Beijing in September.
